Billboard will probably report it sold out anyway, especially if Live Nation are promoting. They do it to Gaga as much as they can get away with and multiple other peoples tours and since BB is the most credible receipt don't worry about it Kats!

is this really true??
i notice this with the MDNA & BTW tour but i thought i was reaching
live nation finds a way to report 100% sold out shows even if it was not?
katy doesn't have 360 deal so i don't think they will hep her to do that

From what I've noticed, a lot of the time Pollstar may report as unsold out and Billboard will basically round down the total number of tickets. So for example if 1,000 tickets were available and said artists sold 790 / 1,000 - Billboard may report 790 / 790 (100%)
for example:
Pollstar 74,740 / 75,755 (98%)
Billboard 74,740 / 74,740 (100%)
Taylor didn't have a 360 deal, however they do it very heavily and extensively with Gaga and Madonna and only report unsold out if it's simply unbelievable
also that may only apply to shows close to selling out, whereas these shows in the high 80's range may have to stay unsold. Who knows though hopefully we will get some BBs soon

We all knew her UK dates would be great but nothing impressive ever since her tragic X Factor performance that made people never want to see ha live again. However, I am ready to drag, photosynthesize, annihilate, and exterminate the monsters when her US and Australian dates come in and she grosses a shitload.

i knew that i was not imagining things
that's a good benefit to have a 360 deal i guess
100% sold out reports all the time translated into good press
but yeah lets wait for billboard and how they report Katy dates

yeah this is a weak market for her
uk was obviously discouraged by that performance but she's getting really good reviews
and the boxscore is not bad

Actually the UK is one of her biggest markets.
compared with the US.
US 1,380,000
Australia 190K~ x14 (US) = 2,660,000 (US Sales)
Canada 184K x9,5 (US) = 1,748,000 (US Sales)
UK 318K x5 (US) = 1,590,000 (US sales)
France 102K x4,7 (US) = 480,000 (US Sales)

Not like it's hard. *Looks at your sig* Oh so you're one of mentally challenged psychopaths. Katy's 89% sold out arena grossed just as much as Gaga's 100% sold out American date. Why are you guys in here and not making thread bragging about Gaga's touring numbers? I mean I thought she was the biggest touring act of this generation? Surely she won't be outgrossed by "no impact" Katy Perry. It will be fun to compare their final grosses won't it
And funny how you disgusting roaches spend more time in Katy's boxscore thread than you do in your mother monster's Guess her repulsive naked and flabby ass isn't enough to keep you guys entertained and you have to stalk Katy to get some joy out of life
Now me go watch Roar and let the light in once more

What's the point of multiple #1's if you can't sell out shows?!

the boxscores? it's currently from Pollstar magazine in PDF file, and someone has screenshotted the individual score. Only those who have access to it can see it and choose to release it (there are deffo no Gaga ones in this weeks Pollstar I've seen it)
They will be available online at http://www.billboard.com/biz/current-boxscore in the future although you never know when.

soooo, I've been sent another boxscore and it is basically a boxscore for the two Birmingham shows combined, but it isn't very good and doesn't seem accurate when the grand total is not much bigger than the first show alone.
Maybe the second Bham show flopped? I haven't been given permission to post yet, stay tuned
pm if interested

ok so he gave me permission to post it
I personally do not think this particular score is accurate, as there is no way she only played to 4k people on the second show so I would just wait for Billboard on this one. I remember when Bey was on tour they first reported her Antwerp gross as $1.4M, and we knew this was wrong and the week later they corrected it to $2.9M, so just don't worry about it
