Madonna's career is anything but over, she outsold Britney with MDNA with zero hits, she has the biggest tour of 2012 and one of the Top 3 in History and she has all the girls hot and bothered that this is already 10 pages

Wrong again, lowest point has been Erotica by far , selling only 5 mill in an age where selling 10-15 mill. was the norm for a star of Madonna's status, MDNA's 1.5 mill is fairly average as the Femme Fatale example proves, even though the comparison isn't fair for Madonna since she is 30 years into her career and Britney is less than 15 years into hers

You are not serious are you? Check the singles from Erotica chartwise and also the album sales compared to MDNA. Erotica had ACTUAL hits!!! I was at junior high school and everyone was talking about her new album. Every new release of her video was a pop event! My nieces don't even know that she had a new album and hardly know her to be honest. Her relevancy back then was so high... Just because she had bad press that doesn't make her low at her career. Swag sometimes I really don't get you. You like this era? Fine with me. Let's be objective though. Madonna is at her lowest point of her career artistically and commercially and honestly it should happen sometime shouldn't it? It's the logical turn of events.

Madonna was very popular and a huge album seller when Erotica was released, she's not an album seller anymore. Erotica should have done well, MDNA was not expected to. I doubt her next album will sell very much either.

Indeed. The SEX/Erotica era could have and almost did end Madonna. As I always say, I give her a lot of credit for being able to dig herself out of that era so successfully.

This era? Madonna is 30 years into her career, has stayed popular longer than most of her peers. Her latest album was actually critically acclaimed until it sold as much as many of today's artists sell. Unless you're up Gaga's behind and think the world revolves around her (read: "Madonna doesn't like Gaga so Madonna's career is over so says daMonsters"), the biggest problem Madonna is currently facing is rampant ageism.

The facts are right there for the "obvious truth".
Even you prefer the erotica era. Why so? Since it's her lowest point. Artistically Madonna was at her peak and if not at her peak at least very close. I witnessed that era and Madonna was extremely relevant back then. SO what if she didn't sell as much as she should? Everyone was talking about her. Her music videos were like a religious anticipation for all the teens back then. You think now the teens or the 20 something people anticipate her videos? NO. If you think that her tour has enormous gross cause of the current era I don't know what to say. SHE CAPITALIZES from past eras such as EROTICA! so let's take the facts 1 by 1.
