#1 really doesn't mean anything anymore. Some CDs that debut at #1 fall like rocks and are forgotten instantly. Some great CDs with longevity actually never crack the top spot (Carrie Underwood, and Kelly Clarkson herself). #1 really isn't important. What's important is that Kelly makes quality music, and Hannah Montana doesn't, and Kelly Clarkson has respect, and Hannah Montana most certainly does not.
