I didn't which is why i stopped. I thought she was actually trying to convey some type of message which clearly isn't the case regarding her songs anymore. However i still listen to her music like any other casual fan. I don't hate her.

Hmm, I don't know about that. I feel like it is brought up in male-dominated fields (like sports), which pop music obviously isn't at the moment.

Rappers are always getting flack for not being good role models. Someone posted a video of T.I. speaking against those who feel that rappers should be role models. Nelly has also spoken out about it.

No, in 07 during the GGGB era. When she's was 19 and all about breaking out the "mold", expressing herself, not being afraid to be different/ growing up etc. Which was something could relate to at the time seeing how i was 14 going through the same thing.
