Let's go into the top 70 of my countdown. This time write ups are back.

"This vocal cord is on
FIYAH / this throat is on
FIYAH / this larynx is on
FIYAH" - this quote from the title track describes perfectly the album. Screaming, screeching and off key singing - that's what you'll find on the album. Alicia's vocals are pretty bad. The songwriting on it, sans One Thing (courtesy of Frank Ocean) is not good at all. The only reason this album made into the top 70 is probably because I used to be a huge fan of the home wrecker Alicia. And what kind of Hunger Games inspired album title?
69. Alexandra Burke Heartbreak on Hold
Score:
75.83/100
Heartbreak on Hold Track by Track
Heartbreak On Hold 9
Elephant (feat. Erick Morillo) 7
Let It Go 8.5
This Love Will Survive 8
Fire 7
Between the Sheets 7.5
Daylight Robbery 7
Tonight (feat. DJ Smash) 6
Love You That Much 7
Oh La La 7
Sitting On Top of the World 7
What Money Can't Buy 10
I still don't know what happened with the real Alexandra Burke - the one that had one of the most flawless vocals on the world, the one that won the X Factor, the one that dueted with Beysus herself. It seems that Alex lost herself among those ugly generic beats and the Auto-tune, and all of that probably happened because she wanted desperately to be relevant.
Too bad for her it did not work at all. The only track that really stands out in a good way is the last track - the beautiful ballad "What Money Can't Buy".
68. Ne-Yo R.E.D.
Score:
76.15/100
R.E.D. Track by Track
Cracks in Mr. Perfect 9
Lazy Love 7
Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself) 8
Miss Right 7
Jealous 7
Don't Make Em Like You (feat. Wiz Khalifa) 8
Be the One 7
Stress Reliever 6
She Is (feat. Tim McGraw) 5
Carry On (Her Letter to Him) 9
Forever Now 8
Shut Me Down 9
Unconditional 9
I never expected Ne-Yo to have some kind of amazing album and R.E.D. is just another proof. It has too many filler tracks and even the singles sounds not amazing. I think he should stick up to writing, not for Beysus, though. I'm sure the song he did with God won't make the cut again, just like with 4.
67. Mumford & Sons Babel
Score:
76.25/100
Babel Track by Track
Babel 8.5
Whispers In The Dark 9
I Will Wait 8
Holland Road 8
Ghosts That We Knew 7
Lover Of The Light 7
Lovers' Eyes 8
Reminder 7
Hopeless Wanderer 8
Broken Crown 7
Below My Feet 7
Not With Haste 7
Overrated mess. It was clearly made only for the US market. No one outside of it will like the album - it's mediocre at its best. That speaks a lot for itself.
66. Alex Clare The Lateness of the Hour
Score:
76.67/100
The Lateness of the Hour Track by Track
Up All Night 8
Treading Water 8.5
Relax My Beloved 9
Too Close 10
When Doves Cry 4
Humming Bird 8
Hands Are Clever 7.5
Tight Rope 8
Whispering 6
I Love You 8
Sanctuary 7
I Won't Let You Down 8
I know I'm kind of late with this album - it was released in most parts of the world in 2011 but the reason why I included it is because of the flawless "Too Close", of course. The rest of the tracks can't compare with it at all. Some of them are very bad - "When Doves Cry", is an example of that - you just can't make a Prince cover and combine with dubstep. What kind of failed logic?
65. Ed Sheeran +
Score:
77.08/100
+ Track by Track
The A Team 10
Drunk 8
U.N.I 7
Grade 8 8
Wake Me Up 7
Small Bump 8.5
This 8
The City 7
Lego House 9
You Need Me I Don't Need You 7
Kiss Me 6
Give Me Love 7
At first listen I really disliked this album. At that time I found it really boring. But as time passed, it slowly began to grow on me just like fine wine. As a whole the album is not that bad, especially coming from an UK singer.
64. Green Day ‘Trι!
Score:
77.50/100
‘Trι! Track by Track
Brutal Love 8
Missing You 8.5
8th Avenue Serenade 8
Drama Queen 7.5
Kid 8
Sex. Drugs & Violence 8
Little Boy Named Train 8
Amanda 7
Walk Away 8
Dirty Rotten Bastards 7
99 Revolutions 8
The Forgotten 7
The third (and last) part of Green Day's trilogy albums comes @ #64. The second part - ‘Dos! was placed @ #73 just yesterday. The first part - ‘Uno! is still in my list and y'all probably won't find it soon here.
‘Trι! combines very well the light, pop sound of ‘Uno! with the more hard, rock sound of ‘Dos!.
63. Rick Ross God Forgives. I Dont
Score:
75.38/100
God Forgives, I Dont Track by Track
Pray for Us 5
Pirates 7
3 Kings (feat. Dr. Dre & Jay-Z) 9.5
Ashamed 7
Maybach Music IV (feat. Ne-Yo) 8
Sixteen (feat. Andrι 3000) 10
Amsterdam 8
Hold Me Back 7
911 8
So Sophisticated (feat. Meek Mill) 8
Presidential (feat. Elijah Blake) 7
Ice Cold (feat. Omarion) 7.5
Touch'n You (feat. Usher) 9
Diced Pineapples (feat. Wale & Drake) 8
Ten Jesus Pieces (feat. Stalley) 7.5
To be honest the only reason I listened to this album is the Andrι 3000-assisted flawless masterpiece that is called "Sixteen". The problem with Rick is that he can't make a great track on his own. All of the highlights/standouts of the albums have a featured artist. His solo track are very boring.
62. Various Artists Think Like a Man (Music from & Inspired By the Film)
Score:
77.92/100
Think Like a Man Track by Track
Jennifer Hudson Think Like a Man (feat. Ne-Yo and Rick Ross) 10
John Legend Tonight (Best You Ever Had) [feat. Ludacris] 9.5
Kelly Rowland Need a Reason (feat. Future & Bei Maejor) 10
Marcus Canty Won't Make a Fool Out of You 7.5
Quadron Baby Be Mine 7.5
Earth, Wind & Fire That's the Way of the World 8
Keri Hilson Freedom Ride 4
Billy Wes Shake That Jelly (feat. Tyga) 7
Ravaughn Same Ol' BS 7
Brandon Hines Fire 8
Future Motion Picture 6.5
Luther Vandross Never Too Much 8.5
Think Like a Man was a great movie but the soundtrack is even better. It features some of R&B and Hip-Hop's biggest and most promising stars - Jennifer Hudson, John Legend Ne-Yo, Future, Bey's background singer Kelly Rowland (not Tenitra), and some not that big stars - Miscarried Baby Hilson, for example. The OST is a fine combination of some old R&B throwback jams and amazing R&B meets Hip-Hop collaborations.
61. DJ Fresh Nextlevelism
Score:
78.33/100
Nextlevelism Track by Track
Louder (feat. Sian Evans) 9
Hot Right Now (feat. Rita Ora) 10
The Feeling (feat. Ravaughn) 8
Skyhighatrist (feat. Rizzle Kicks) 9
The Edge (feat. Ayah Marar) 7
The Power (feat. Dizzee Rascal) 8
Turn It Up (feat. Fleur) 8
Gold Dust (feat. Ms Dynamite) 7
Dont Tell Me (feat. Liam Bailey) 7
Fire Over Water (feat. Juliette Lewis) 8
See You Again (feat. Michael Warren) 7
Forever More (feat. The Fray & Professor Green) 6
DJ Fresh might be the UK version of David Guetta but Daniel Stein ***** on Guetta in every possible way. Despite not collaborating with big stars, Daniel still managed to make an amazing Dance album. The Rita Ora-assisted "Hot Right Now" is the track that made me check who this guy was and I was not disappointed with him at all.
That's all for today. And thanks for the comments, guys. Much appreciated.
