Does Carly Rae have any sad or dark sounding songs? I liked I Didn't Just Come Here to Dance because it was the "darkest" sounding song of hers I've heard, but in general, I feel like Carly just beats overwhelming positivity over the heads of listeners, and it makes everything feel one-note to me. Given I only listened to Emotion once, and I'm currently listening to B Side, but everything just feels like a shining summer day when I want some rain, or at least some clouds.

I'm gonna ask here because I know ATRL adores her and I just don't see why.

EDIT: Fever is lyrically dark, but it still sounds very upbeat to me

Honestly, you don't *have* to. For example, what I did actually added nothing to my entry, but if you think you can do something that takes it up a notch (like if you wanted a storybook themed entry and you made it actually look like a story book), then go for it. I really don't think it's that important, though.

I will say that some of you really did incredibly considering its your first time playing. I'd say 80% of you did well too though, it just became a case of which entries had really set the scene better in the end.

I assume you're long over Side B but when I listened to it the only song that stuck out to me was Roses.

I felt like that had this cooler feel to it
