Not these past two years. The biggest hits of 2014 and 2015 ("Happy" and "Uptown Funk!', respectively) both peaked in the Spring.

And The Weeknd is slaying. 3 massive hits so far this year. Definitely the breakout artist of the year and if his album does well, the most successful overall artist as well
