Britney's popularity has the potential to bring millions of viewers.

Album sales do not have a direct link with the ability to critique others though.
I think we all just should wait and see how this'll work out, as everything that's said here is just speculation and in the end none of us have a conclusive argument why she'd be either good or bad. We won't know till the next season starts, if this is indeed true.
