I was a rock kid in high school, metal to be exact. Surpisingly i found that inside all those screams and loud live instruments that there were killer hooks and amazing melodies. Now I generally go right for that good pure stuff, straight up pop music. IDK rock to me these days tends to water itself down too much. Melodies and walls of sound are replaced with quiet subtle instrumentation and whispers. Well here these guys are bringing me back to what i love. The strong pop hooks are THERE, but this isnt pop. The strong hard rock instruments and vocals are THERE, but its catchy. Pop Punk without being pop punk, i love it. Every single track is solid and the album is a breeze to get through, leaving you wanting more. Endlessly replayable and enjoyable, this collaboration got me two bands/acts to enjoy for one. I'm happy
