TV Show: American Idol (Season 9) Lee DeWyze wins

UGH I'm still so pissed at this season's Top 24. People are right, American Idol truly is over and has lost all credibility. I'm still wondering how the hell Kris Allen even made it into the Top 24. He was like the boringest one there, yet he STILL won.  And it looks like this is gonna be another boring country season where everyones onstage with a guitar.... 
I NEED another Fantasia, David Archuleta, Chris Daughtry, Jordin....or something...but I don't see anyone who stands out this season.
Bring on the X-Factor please..

just wondering...why did they do it on the kodak theatre...? i mean the choosing of the top 24...they usually do it on a judge's mansion right? what happened? because paula left?
good for john park .....he looks korean or chinese...i don't know...but maybe....he's cute

The girl whose last name is Stevens (I think it's Katie Stevens [?]) is my favorite so far, together with Hayley Vaughn, Lily Scott (The Ashlee Simpson kinda girl), and DiDi.
For the men, I only like Andrew Garcia and Casey James.
I'm still sad Vanessa Wolfe didn't make it

^ Yes it's Katie. I like her too. She also seems to be a judges' favorite.
Vanessa's audition was really good, but she screwed it all up, that sucks.

Alaina Whitaker :heart: she's like CU part.2 to me
this season is gonna be great with some of the girls doing country and acoustic!! i wish they will pull another Carrie out of this one.

^Holy crap, yes! That is some BULL!
For those who don't know, Chris GoLightly (or as he was known on Idol "Orphan boy") made the top 24, but apparently had a contract with a boy band, but it ended in june/july of '09. So when he auditioned for Idol, under current contracts, he put "no". Well, his manager called Idol and said he was still under contract, but Chris couldn't find the contract to prove his contract expired. At the last minute, his manager found it, but Idol producers still disqualified him.
I think this is ****! "Big Mike" is still in the top 24, even though his dad was an idiot and told a local paper his son made the top 24. So why should they disqualify Chris? I mean, i like Tim Urban, so i'm glad he's in the top 24 now, but then again, it's not fair Chris got disqualified when Mike didn't.
Idol producers are also saying Chris can't audition next year because he made the top 50 this year. WTF! Weren't there people who made the top 50 last year that auditioned again this year (in fact didn't one of those girls make the top 24?)
If this is true (rumors are also flying saying Chris is lying and there was another reason he was thrown out), then Idol is the biggest asshole on the planet.

Big Mike couldn't control what his dad was going to do. It's just like what David's dad did on American Idol 7, they couldn't disqualify him because they couldn't control what his dad was going to pressure him to do. Besides, the top 24 leaked anyway and would've with or without Big Mike's dad saying anything. It's happened nearly every year since AI 6. Chris should've told AI straight up that he had one, but it got cancelled. If he were smart, he would've brought the cancelled contract with him to prove it during auditions. I mean, I agree it's BS that they still disqualified him after they found it, but he still should've told them straight up. As long as you didn't make the top 24, you can audition as much as you want until you're over 28. Chris made it into the top 24 before being disqualified, so that's why he can't audition again. (Which is dumb, because technically he didn't make the top 24 if he was disqualified, but...)

wow..you all love haeley vaughn...lol...i like didi, casey james and john park......katie stevens is pretty and young.......i really thought angela martin would finally make it to the top 24....but she didn't i feel sory for her....i guess american idol is not for her.....

What they did to Angela was wrong! They should have just cut her part out of the show because American Idol are looking heartless. The same goes for the girl with her face going crooked. (Sorry, Idk her name.)
Also was wrong about the last guy who got cut that is a mama's boy. They told him he did nothing wrong, yet they cut him.
I'm mad that annoying Country singer that keeps wearing a flower in her hair got through over the girl that did a Reggae version of a song I forgot now.
The man who sang The Fray's YFM should not have gone through. Decided 5 mins. ago that he would. Boo! His voice is NOT good!

Eh, who cares anymore anyways. American Idol is **** now. The ratings are PLUMMETING each season and the last winner was such an epic flop. I mean seriously, does ANYONE remember Kris Allen winning? I had to check wikipedia just to remember who won last season...
