I think it could be a great chance for Kelly to be a bit experimental on a few tracks before she sets herself into the music she will post-contract.

I need her to work with Luke & Max Martin again. I would die to hear her work with Benny Blanco, Danja, Bloodshy & Avant, David Guetta, Alex da Kid, J.R. Rotem
the list goes on and on.
Kelly has such an amazing voice for big, bold pop songs. and to be honest, I don't think she always knows what's best for herself musically! that's part of the reason why My December is so hit or miss for me - I want to hear Kelly on huge pop anthems. that's not ALL I want to hear her on, obviously, but those kinds of songs are what made me fall in love with her voice.
I think now more than ever, she has a huge aversion to working with big producers. I can't imagine that she'll ever work with Luke or Max Martin again, sadly.
but when I think - Kelly could have recorded "Black Hole" for My December, but it went to Lindsay Lohan instead....what a missed opportunity! it's such a great, big, loud, emotional pop rock ballad and Kelly would've sounded INCREDIBLE on it.
I know we'll never know the whole story on what went on between her and Clive Davis, but I can't help but think that, in some ways, he knew better than Kelly.
