Yes It's unmatched by any game in history - except maybe Half Life 3. Not even Gaga with Born This Way can compare to the immense hype SSBB had

I'm a Metroid stan (it's my favorite game series, ever) but that entry was so disappointing. The trailer was epic too

Metroid Prime is flawless Super Metroid is the epitome of 2D gaming. I dare anyone to say otherwise.

This is why Retro needs to redeem the series, desperately. I wonder if Nintendo is going to show that HD Zelda game. That could really hype everyone up for Wii U, especially after that trainwreck of a debut last year.

I'm least excited about Microsoft and I'm sure they're going to be the most underwhelming of the three. They have no exciting exclusives outside of Halo 4, and that's been overdone to death. Kinect's been a failure for the most part, and they aren't revealing a console (from what I've read), so they have nothing to really wow us with.

I don't expect a new Zelda appearance, though. Skyward Sword was just released and that took 5 years to make. I expect some Metroid stuff. Hopefully.
