Seriously one of the most ridiculous things I've seen in my life.
For those who didn't see: Li was up 6-4 4-0 and then choked and lost 8 straight games playing horribly, then Sharapova was up 4-1 in the third (2 breaks) and did exactly the same. This was all played in horrible cold and wet conditions, and by the time it was 4-4, the rain was pretty much *******ial. They played in it until 5-5 30-30 when all the lines were wet.
That break only took a few minutes, but then they both came out actually playing good tennis, including Sharapova saving a MP at 5-6 with an amazing point and forehand winner. This was all played with a loud helecopter overhead and explosions from fireworks at the football stadium at the same venue.
And now it's 6-6 in the third and they're waiting to come back. I'm dead.
