Except that song came out in 2008, with her album Hard Candy, a few months before The Fame's first release, unless I'm mistaken, which certainly means before the Madonna comparisons.

And monsters need to realize she's seen many come and go, but Madonna always remains. No one in pop history has had a longer career than her.

Anyway, I think it's brilliant from Madonna's part, judging at how she has all the monsters promoting her tour on Twitter and everywhere else now.
