It's not mean-spirited!
It's celebrating Express Yourself and the influence it had over a huge pop single that introduced "Born this Way" into the public lexicon.
It's more like her saying "This is the song I made and look at all the other good things that have come out of it", not "Oh **** this Gaga ho"
Also, Gaga sings a few lines of Express Yourself at the BTWBall, does she not?
