Throw Jesca Hoop & Jack White on the mix too, you, me, & Great Username would get our very own "Album of The Decade".
SN didn't have the flow like Fearless. Really. You missed the point here. Am not talking about the sales number at all. The songs are far more superior to Fearless, but bad placing is what made it failed to fully work as an album.
Swifties tho.
Another song with Colbie Caillat possibly? No? I loved "Breathe".
Yeah. Looking at it that way....you could be right. I remember Great Username posted another track-listing for "Speak Now" and it actually made much more sense.
I wonder what I'll do when I finish my exams by June 13th. I'll probably just cry alone until the lead single comes out.
At least you still have that lightning speed internet connection and all other social medias. I'm going to go to hell this week (Read: jungle & flop countries).
While "Fearless" has whatever it takes to be an album that works as an album, I still prefer her debut actually. Pure Country with little Pop influence. It's just too bad that "Speak Now", with it's undeniably amazing songs, just don't have what "Fearless" has, track-listing played a huge part in SN's failure. If only we live in '90s, when songs longer than 5 mins still got played by radio, SN would have been as big as "Fearless".
Oh well, ***** happen. She still has a long way to go.
PS: Any love for "Tell Me Why" & "The Best Day"?
PPS: Thanks for purchasing. One copy closer to new certification. ()
Yeah I get that this album was more pop-influenced, not sure I could handle full-blown country at this point.
Unfortunately the 2 songs you've mentioned don't really stick in my memory so I couldn't say they were my favourites on the album.
Haha not sure me buying one more copy (which will count as a UK sale) will help this album get any more certs but you never know
I think SN can be bigger than Fearless era, but the spotlight had moved to other artist that time ( Katy when she released her album, and then Adele ate everything in 2011 )
And everything was getting messy while BTD video comes too late, and it's beyond our high expectation, and getting worse with double single, and the story of Taylor looked a lot like tragedy that time
But she has the biggest tour in Speak Now era

Hew else?
Another "Breathe" would be great. But, nope. I need a much more improved "Dear John". That song still slays. And an improved "Never Grow Up" too please. And she better makes them 10 mins long. Like Zimmerman did.
I'm listening to "Dear John" right now. Still thinking it's weird to put "Mean" after it. It ***** on vinyl & MP3. The part when she sings "over your sad empty town" gets me every time. 100% sure she recorded it while crying. Taylor hun.
Let's relieve how amazing "Dear John" is.

I was at one point thinking Country as loser's music honestly. But Cash & Hank Sr. really changed my mind on Country.
Ah. It's alright. Many said the same. I'm on forever alone train I guess.
At least one more copy bought. Rather than not selling at all.

I'll give you two treats. Don't tell anyone though, but here are two of the single covers.
