I just don't get his reasoning. Just because someone isn't known in the U.K or U.S does not mean their music is bad. And one of his favorites is Lana...she isn't worldwide so I don't know what he is talking about.

Lana has the 2nd biggest album worldwide this year.

This is not a man of reason/logic.
Apparently if you are not big in UK your music sucks and has no value.
What a worldwide QUEEN. Who else could sell that much?
That's actually pretty good if its not inflated. I mean Britney sold alittle over 1 million in certifications for FF including the U.S. so that's pretty good. For a debut era its commendable

Yes, but Taylor has done more and he does not respect her sales so why should hers be praised? Using his logic that is terrible
Wait, y'all talking about me & my "guilty-pleasure" that is "Black & Yellow"? And dragging Brit-Brit too.
*goes record my very own "LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE", for real this time*

Talking about Chart Success is like chasing your own tail. I'm not in. Much prefer the discussion about the actual music.

It's more than that. And the album was only released in January and has not yet broken in the world's biggest music market (US), so its sales have been very impressive. Especially since it is a debut album and hasn't really had a smash hit single in many countries.

The whole sales number talk gets tiring right now. Personally, I say Lana didn't live up to the hype. Her team just rushed things out.
And you know me, I don't give a single **** about hit singles.
Lana's album is one of the most original aural experiences for some while IMHO. I don't like her just because she's selling comparatively well.
IMO, I think that album is trash except for 2 songs. And I actually listened to it unlike you bashing Taylor Swift even though you admitted to having zero knowledge on her or her talents.
