So on that note, who else do you guys see Kelly actually dueting with? Because of the show, and because she's doing so well now, I see so many different possibilities that could really actually happen.
1) Her ongoing friendship with Demi will keep that open as an option. That would so just ****ing epic and is the one I anticipate the most, to be honest.
2) Bruno Mars: Kelly has said she would love to and I don't see Bruno opposed to that either. It would likely do really well on the charts too.
3) Robin Thicke/John Legend: I would love her to duet with Legend. It could happen with Thicke as well. I hope the music they duet on is properly released though and not just performed on the show.
4) Maybe Sun Will Rise ft. Jennifer Nettles as well?
5) Pink. I see it happening so naturally but I don't know whether Kelly and Pink have any kind of relationship beyond simply admiring each other.
6) Carrie --> Unlikely but you never know, right?
I don't see an Adele duet happening any time soon, tbh. But looking at the list, I see so many possibilities for great music to be made! And it would mean we wouldn't have to wait for the next album to hear from Kelly. Like Don't You Wanna Stay, she'd probably do promo for it, so the song could hold us over until the next era.
In a way, I actually feel like we still have not seen the very best from the Stronger era though. I hope for some major DS promo when it grows later on radio. I want her to look like she did at the BMA's (with blond hair though, of course), kill it vocally like she does on tour, and own the stage like she did with her BOY Grammy performance....
