The article is obviously trying to say who they thought was the better judge and just used steal the spotlight as a phrase, just having the name "Britney Jean Matilda Spears" does not automaticaly mean she's the better judge it is possible for 19 year old less known "Demetria Devonne Lovato" to be a better judge too

Britney was shady as ****. She was articulate and she knew how to make a critique flow. She was keeping it short and to point, while giving constructive criticism. Everyone thought Britney would be the nervous one, but she exceeded all expectations and numerous other reports agreed.
Demi was the one who was doing badly. Sans one critique, she was cringe worthy. She didn't know how to explain or express herself and she used a lot of "umms," "ehhs," "hmms," etc. She just seemed dumb and useless. The crowd was also not there for her. It as if they were ignoring her on purpose. She was trying to steal the spotlight at one point, but Simon read her for filth. I doubt her rather unnecessary mentioning of American Idol will go unnoticed. She didn't get at least one trending topic, as opposed to Britney getting about ten, giving an audition more exposure than actual episodes got last season.
Judging by those quotes you posted, I'd say Britney seems "dumb and useless."

I was excited to see Britney thats the whole reason why I went and many others in the crowd, reason why I am going today as well. In the 1st hour everyone was applauding her (minus the booing that they gave her once ) but after a while the celebrity status wears down.
I went to see Britney but stayed for Demi and Simon

Please don't argue with the Lovatics, it's pointless. Demi finally has an achievement it seems, let them run with it. If she really outshined Brit I guess we should expect her salary to be higher than Britneys if they both return next season, right?

Sis, I am not going off-topic, I was simply commenting on what the poster said about Demi having more personality than Britney. You can't compare them at all because look at Britney's tragic fall from grace, read the thread and keep up please, I am simply saying: Why compare the two when one has been doing this for decades and one hasn't?
