Okay, but still you'd think a rihanna single would have no problem reaching the top 10 after a video, SNL AND the american idol finale. The (US) performance of this song is interesting.
I love this song and music video. I still don't get why its not in the Top 10 either. I will say though that WHYB sounds terrible in my car. I think my speakers have too much bass causing the song to sound slightly jumbled.
Clearly TTT era lost its momentum after the horrible timing and choice of YDO. The general public is just "not here" for Rihanna during the last few months.

Wide Awake is The best single of the whole era, she should get that #1. Rihanna is not doing great Because of The Chris Brown thing, people don't like her The way They used to, with all this promo and radio support, she should be in the Top 3, tbh
even if WHYB doesn't go #1(which i highly doubt happening) it deserves to go top 10, even top 5!! its a great song and put against the previous singles(minus WFL) its the best!
Let's see if "Wide Awake" holds up. I see it being another top 10 or top 5 for Katy, but I'm not sure about #1.
And the TTT era hasn't been very interesting. People say that these new/breakthrough artists are having success because the pop girls are on vacation, but you still have Katy and Rihanna releasing and promoting music.
But Katy & Rihanna are the most overexpose pop stars right now so at this point I won't be surprised if WHYB doesn't reach top 10 let alone top 5

BTW, WA isn't only rising b/c of the performance - the banner for the lyrics video is on every single music video on YT. It's almost like she released a video. Still way overperforming.
