Library and Baby Steps are both amazing but the rest of that mini is trash. It boggles my mind why SNSD could deliver such an amazing pop album with their Japanese record but fall flat on their face time and time again with their Korean work. I just don't understand it.
But the Japanese album is actually
flawless, if you ignore Beautiful Stranger. And of course, if you were to count the translations, then Gee would have to take a hike.

I'd say 9. Everything on their debut is terrible, but Oh! has the title track, and The Boys has the title track (which I've fallen back in love with) and Trick. Then Gee has Destiny, Genie has the title track and Boyfriend, and Hoot has Wake Up. Let's not forget that Run Devil Run from the Oh! repackage is tolerable and that Echo is a cute pop song. And if you count promo tracks, then Visual Dreams offers a 10th song.
Plus if we include TaeTiSeo then there's another 2 tracks.
