I wasn't here for him after Idol but I'm really liking this album. It's a great summer pop album with a handful of obvious hits and an obvious target audience. His label needs to work this album right.

That is the perfect spring smash for 2013.

If they play their cards right, they could have a big album in the future. They just need to release the right singles and PROMOTE them. I'm hoping this is one of those albums where a single is released and gains enough momentum to propel the album ala Gotye, Foster the People, fun.etc.

My Weakness needs to be sent for adds late next month, with a video in mid-late July. He can do radio shows and interviews throughout the summer promoting the song and I'm sure it'd do well. Follow up with Out Alive in the Fall, a performance on The X Factor or The Voice and next Spring release Rooftops.

Eighth season Idol winner Kris Allen’s 19/RCA sophomore album, Thank You Camellia, is looking at 15-20k as well after his debut scored 80k out of the box in Nov. ‘09.
