Fearless. It didn't/doesn't have the maturity, depth, innovation and/or creativity that the other nominees in the same year had/has nor it is up to the caliber of all the past winners. Cute album but nowhere close to deserving the award.
And seeing as how the Grammys love causing little uproars/commotions every year, I think the Grammys gave it to her just so she could have the title as the youngest artist to win that category. Fearless wasn't completely undeserving but in between the other nominees, it was the least deserving of the coveted award.

Because Diva, Boom Boom Pow, and Brown Eyes are so mature, deep, innovative and creative.
Fearless was definitely the most deserving of the award. Until 21 came along, it was the highest selling album past 2007 and it was the most critically acclaimed of the nominees. Taylor winning was hardly an "uproar" considering a decent number of people
expected her to win. Aside from that, Fearless has also aged best of the nominees that year; it has a sort of timeless quality to it, whereas even Gaga fans will admit that some of The Fame sounds outdated.
