I can undersand that Shakira is obviously bigger in Latin America since she already has a longer career with Spanish music as you say, but you're obviously wrong about J.Lo not being big at all there.

She always hits number ones on iTunes there with her English songs and has a good impact on charts there not only with OTF.

CAUM, her FIRST Spanish album has reached number one in Billboard Latin albums charts for the entire month and stayed 26 weeks before leaving the top 100. etc...

The whole CAUM album was flawless, I mean the fact that this album marks the highest debut sales in the United States for a Spanish album and the highest digital sales for a Spanish album, is good enough for her to make another Spanish album like this, and it was just her 1st Spanish album. Not to mention, it is her most underrated album ever, but It did really good in terms of sales and charts despite the lack of promo,

Speaking of QH. This was my favorite single of 2007 along with Me Haces Falta and some Britney, Nelly Furtado singles. I still remember myself watching the music video in every music channel, the song was in everywhere.

I also remember when it was confirmed as the first Spanish video to hit the number one spot @ TRL.
