Kelly Clarkson — you really brought IT tonight to the 2012 Billboard Awards. You have never looked more stunning than you did in a full-length, plunging neckline red Grecian-style gown. It was classy and red HOT all at the same time. Your hair was nice and soft and your makeup done but natural. And on top of it all, you sounded terrific introducing your new single “Dark Side.”
Congrats Kelly on a job well done on all fronts! Can’t wait to see her on Duets, starting Thursday, May 24 at 8 p.m. on ABC.

It’s been a decade since Kelly Clarkson became the first winner of the hit TV show ‘American Idol’ and tonight onstage at the Billboard Music Awards, Clarkson proved that she’s still got the same talent and charisma that made us fall in love with her 10 years ago. Singing her new single ‘Dark Side,’ the singer wore a sexy red dress and looked confident and radiant as she delivered the first performance of the night.
Other ‘American Idol’ alumni such as Carrie Underwood and Jordin Sparks will also be performing later in the show. In her new single Clarkson asks: “Will you love me? Even with my dark side?” We’re not sure if she’s asking us but if she is – we will love Kelly Clarkson no matter what!
Clarkson was met with a roaring applause from the crowd, much of which was filled with her fellow peers from the music industry. She may have started her career with chance and luck, but Clarkson has continually proven she’s got staying power and a flame that’s not going to burn out anytime soon.

Billboard Music Awards 2012: Kelly Clarkson's weight loss on display
We'll say this right at the top - we love Kelly Clarkson to pieces. Her weight fluctuations have been the subject of gossip sites and magazines since she won "American Idol" so many years ago. But we love her no matter what size she is - she's a beautiful woman with an amazing set of pipes.
However, we could not help but notice how smashing Kelly looked at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. She took to the stage to perform her new single "Dark Side" in a red dress that made us do a double-take because of its plunging neckline and very low back.
Contrast how she looks at the Billboard Awards with how she looked just six months ago at the VH1 Divas concert and we have to say well done, Kelly. She looks beautiful and healthy, which is just the way we like our celebrities. Gorgeous.
