I feel like one of the reasons Simon wanted Demi for X Factor was because she's Latina. I mean American Idol has JLo and The Voice has Xtina. He didn't wanna feel left out

I agree with you the first episode is going to get a crap load of ratings everyone will want to see how Britney will do and to find out who Demi is and see why she was choosen when she is young and unknown. Simon knows what he is doing. Cant wait for this season to start and to see all the promos.

I honestly don't think Britney will be that good tbh I love her, but I think it's pretty obvious she's not the same anymore. Simon should've waited to see how she's gonna do on the show and then give her the full 15 million.

yeah but i meant like, if it was someone who's well known and people have seen interviews of them and know how they speak and stuff, it would make them way less interested than with Demi

I'm sure there are lol, there are good and interesting contestants every year... and I mean it's not like X Factor is a BAD casting show. They get a recording contract for 5 million dollar! And i think many people like this format, so i do think they have enough contestants who are interesting.
