It's a song that can make you feel good and ready to open up doors at adventures in love and that is the whole feeling of summer, not just for girls but for guys too.
The song is gender-less, and also really captvating.
Melody is simple, the way that you can sing it practically immediately after hearing it. It can easily be loved by everyone, and it's a very happy, flirtatious song, that puts a smile upon your face when you hear it.
It reminds me of Michelle Branch's "Everywhere" hit: a similarly happy, flirtatious song with an inescapable hook and that crossing-border quality as for age and gender.
I just read that Carly is performing at BBA... Scooter Brown again nails it for his roster.
I was convinced Scream would have gotten a big advantage from his performance BUT if Carly performs there, it simply won't be enough.
She's gonna get a turbo-boosting if the performance is ok. And probably even if it isn't.
Good job, Scooter. You may have just secured her longevity enough to give her space to wait into until Gotye combinations of sales AND airplay shrinks enough to a number one spot.
