Sunggyu said this at the press conference yesterday: "K-pop has become such a big sensation but we didn't want to follow what's been done and produce trendy songs. We wanted to release a modern track that embodies traditional Korean music genre."
They also explained at the showcase last night that for the new Infinite logo (calligraphy) and the new song, they wanted to show something modern but at the same time still very Korean.
Wow isn't that basically what Halien said about them? Just hearing that Sunggyu said that makes me like them so much more. I love that they're doing their own thing and trying to embody Asian pop while other groups try to pander to westerners. Plus, The Chaser is literally EVERYTHING. Flawless boys are flawless. That's exactly what I love about them, they always do their thing regardless of what's the hottest trend in the KPop scene. I mean, their songs rarely have English in them (The Chaser has zero english), not even the regular phrases. And Unlike groups like Teen Top, Boyfriend, 2PM etc, their image is also not westernized.

Infinite-sus songs are quite refreshing, I really love their sound, it's not groundbreaking but it's unique in it's own way.
I've been listening to their newest mini and even though I like The Chaser, I feel like they will never top Before The Dawn / Be Mine / Paradise.
I just don't get Infinite. They're music is just not for me I guess. I tried their Paradise repack. & Paradise & Julia were cool but nothing I can jam too a lot. I do acknowledge they are extremely talented performance wise tho
Btw Gangkiz are the worst rookies of the year music wise. Every single song was a mess. Six Bomb >

well, ZE:A improved a lot. the only "bad thing" is that they always bet on cute concepts. Since they're saying the comeback will bring something new I hope to see a new Heart For 2 as main single
