Agreed re: Moments. I like his part better than Liam's similar one earlier in the song.
While I'd also agree that his voice isn't the strongest, IMO none of the boys has a particularly strong voice live. Liam is the best technically, but his voice isn't very strong or distinctive. Harry has a very good and distinctive recording voice, but he's uneven live -- he's often out of breath and his voice disappears. Zayn is a talented singer who's very good at riffing and improvising, but his verses are uneven -- he's sometimes off the beat and has breathing problems too. With the possible exception of Liam, they could all use some more coaching IMO. There's a reason they didn't make it individually and were put in a group. I do love their harmonies though -- that's why my fave parts of the album is the choruses. Especially live -- the best part of their performance is when they're singing the chorus.
Louis certainly isn't the best singer of the group, but he isn't as bad as some make him out to be. If you listen to their live performances, you could actually hear Louis' voice during the choruses because his voice is distinctive. He usually sings the main melodies along with Harry and zayn while Liam and Niall sing the harmonies. You can hear his voice very clearly in this acoustic performance of WMYB for example:
