I think it's interesting, Beyonce's reputation after the 4 era has dwindled to a degree, whereas Gaga continues to grow even with a less successful album Born This Way = clearly performances and presence is important today.

Gaga's performance skills have gone downhill. She tries too hard now and the result is messy.

When she was on it, I preferred watching her performances to Beyonce's.

Better singer, better dancer, better stage presence. The fact she can utilize almost all of her 3 octave range whilst dancing and showing great stage presence should be enough.

As for tour receipts, I'm sure if Beyonce had 90937097 shows she'd have grossed more as well.
