I agree with you 100%, but I gotta be honest, you can't blame some people for thinking it's for attention seeking.
I mean, it looks a lot like it, and probably, it partly was. You gotta be honest, they chose this song as a single partly for publicity as well.
But in the end, it is still, in my opinion, a beautiful song.
I love that song.
