And we're such flop stans, guys. We missed Kelly's anniversary. One of the past 3 days was 10 years to the day that Kelly auditioned for Idol. The Season 1 auditions in Dallas, TX were May 5-7, 2002.

The finale was September 4, 2002. All the media publications this year have been saying it's been 10 years since she won but it's just because of the year.. because the exact 10 year date hasn't gotten here yet.
