OOP. Maybe in your next album you will go back to your flawless roots instead of this mess. Back then she could at least make money out of shows because altho the Indie crow barely buys albums, they would always see her and she used to sell out shows easily, she used to be invited for Indie festivals plenty of times, now the Indie crowd has left her and the general public doesn't use. DEATH at you acting like Electra Heart is just 16 rehashes Party Rock Anthems The Family Jewels wasn't exactly Bjork / Crystal Castles either. She's always been pop, just now she's more electronic influenced pop (BUT THERE'S SOME INDIE POP ON IT TOO).

Pop or not, Marina had her own style, there's no album that sounds like "The Family Jewels", unlike "Electra Heart".

Outside ATRL there has been very little hype around the album. She has had radio support from one radio station in the country, and has had a few low-key television performances.

TFJ had much more hype following Marina's #2 position on the BBC Sound of 2010 list.

Marina isn't a big superstar like Xtina + Bionic had major promotion all around the world.
Electra Heart had less promotion than TFJ so why are you expecting these big numbers.
At least she didn't have to experience the sophomore slump.
She has a #1 and I'm sure that like TFJ - Electra Heart will continue to sell well.

The only REAL hype for this album was amongst fans.

'Primadonna' was her desperately trying to get a big single. That didn't really work out, though.

We all at least expected her to outsell her debut album first-week. Her selling-out only led to lackluster critical acclaim and weaker album sales, without even scoring a top10 hit with the help of Dr. Luke.

Yeah ok but 'Primadonna' was a top twenty hit so the fact that EH even debuted at #1 is quite amazing.
