I agree with this (although Katy is a bad example, she's quite hated here because people are jealous of all her #1s and they find "excuses" to dismiss them like saying it's just because of discounts, remixes or just claiming it's nothing to do with Katy and that everything Dr. Luke makes goes to #1 anyway).

Another thing that's weird that I'm reading now is saying that adults won't like Where Have You Been? It's a safe, radio friendly, Timbaland sounding electropop song. It's PERFECT for adults!! What I'm reading, I would've thought you were talking about an Akon or 50 Cent song lol.

The 19 year-old males that are out clubbing probably like to listen to Rack City and ****** in Paris in their spare time, not Where Have You Been, and most of them probably hardly ever legally download anyway. Where Have You Been's target audience is young children.

I think SNL is watched by mostly adults. I hardly ever hear teens talk about the show. Like, I know some teens do, but not very many.

Personally, I think Rihanna's fanbase is 14-25. I think the last thing they're thinking about is SNL tbh. I seriously doubt the adult crowd(in radio terms) want to hear WHYB and its a bit advanced for anybody under puberty ages.

Edit: 19 year-old guys are a bad example anyway, seeing as though they generally dont buy any of their music. Gays and girls that age are more likely to purchase music, regardless of genre/artist.
