I love this song more than Dressin' Up although I think it's wrong timing. Still, I'm gonna support it 110 % because I believe it'll do great! Not sure on a #1 though.

i was SO disappointed with the last 3 singles from Katy. I know everyone LOVED Last Friday Night, but i never really liked the song (although the video was good), and The One That Got Away was meh (again a good video though) and dont EVEN get me started on my hate for Part Of Me but I instantly LOVED Wide Awake as soon as I heard it. So im glad shes releasing it over Dressin Up
Wondering how she'll pull this off live. There are a lot of notes that she can't avoid like she's done in the past with Teenage Dream, Firework, etc. But she managed to put on nice performances for TOTGA so I think she can do it.
She always tend to slay ballads live. So I think she will have no problems singing wide awake. Hopefully. She slay totga acoustic version!!
