Obviously there's some bad songs there, but if you got an urban chart from 1985 there would be some bad songs in it too. All the top 3 songs, Climax, Birthday Cake and Up! are great imo. Not to mention, Beyonce's song in the top 10 sounds like it's from the 90's.
I know they're not meaningful and real, etc. like the songs from the past, but I enjoy listening to them. I don't think it's as bad as you say, even if you don't like Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Tyga, etc.

I first heard Somebody That I Used to Know last summer (since I live in Europe), and I loved it from first listen. And I still love it now, 9 months later. Even as early as February I was saying on here that it would get #1 on the Hot 100.
