The best way I could describe this song is by saying that Kara DioGuardi wrote it. That should be enough information to tell you that the song has a 90%(she’s had a few gems) chance of being awful. The lyrics are a mess and Carrie’s vocals are all over the place. I would have placed this song a little higher in this rate, but the point remains. Carrie can do a whole lot better than this.

Let’s flash back to the fall of 2011. I was minding my own business when all of a sudden I heard that Miranda’s lead single was released. So what do I do? I drop everything, I could have been holding my child in one hand and the Declaration of Independence in the other and I still would have thrown that **** to the ground. Why? Because Miranda slayed my life with her last album and I was ready to be blessed by the queen again. Little did I know that instead of greatness all I would hear was a Carrie Underwood reject. Miranda’s signature raw and edgy sound was replaced by some sort of funky yet dull mess. The chorus was the final sign that this song was going nowhere fast. I gave it a 5, her worst single yet.

Achilles.

I DESPISE THIS SONG.

I won't miss it.
