When Mine was rush-released I was so furious. I knew that it would ruin any chance of a #1 debut. I was so obsessed with a #1 back then. And tbph it took me a few listens before I appreciated it.

Well i actually thought that SPeak Niw is the weakest among the three promo singles. And i thought Back to December was just another ballad when i first listened to it. Mean was the catchiest among all! Like i literally played it over and over when if first heard it. Although the lyrics were weak.
So ill watch your life in pictures like I used to watch you sleep and Ill feel you forget me like I used to feel you breathe. And ill keep up with our old friends just to ask them how you ar.....hope its nice where you are.....
And I hope the sun shines, and its a beautiful day, and something reminds you, you wish you had stayed, you can plan for a change in the weather and time, but I never planned on you changing your mind......

Seriously, I think Taylor really missed a trick not having "Better Than Revenge" after "Innocent". "Innocent fades" out and then a sudden injection of pace with NOW GO STAND IN THE CORNER AND THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU DID.
Also, "Sparks Fly" (I'm captivated by you baby like a fireworks show) not being followed by "Dear John" (I'm shining like fireworks over your sad empty town) when the latter seems like a clear follow-up to the former, is almost as big a travesty as "White Horse" not following "Love Story" in Fearless' tracklisting.

At first I didnt really like Mine, and the 3 promo singles, Mean was pretty good. I was worried about the album! But then it came....the first song I heard was Last Kiss then innocent .and......then....enchanted
I actually really like it.
