It's not like the more she waits, the more the first single will smash.
She needs a commercial song able to sell well without too much promo.
It has to be the perfect song for radios.

I have a feeling that Gaga's next album won't be nominated at the Grammy's. ( Album of the year section)

I think Rihanna just had a lot of promo issues.
Gaga tends to be on target with her performances/video timing.

I really do think she's going to release an EP/record this year though.
The Skorpion Show always gets the inside scoop on Gaga's plans.

Sistren You Da One reached 14 on Billboard, higher then Marry The Night without a single existing performance or promo. TTT reached 40 without a video, promo and 1 performance in the UK. Birthday Cake reached top 30 without an iTunes Release, Video, Promo or even a proper release from Def Jam.
But then again this is the Gaga base thread, not Rih's.

Don't think so....The song is amazing and cool, but I don't see it smashing (it's a 5th single that won't have much promo and with a B&W video..)

I'm torn on what I want from Gaga. Part of me wants fun, happy, dancing Gaga that the clubs will eat up, but then the other half wants Dark Bad Romance type songs.
Tbh I'm here for Dark Dubstep Grimy Gaga

No, please. I hate Dubstep. Why everybody is with soft Dubstep breaks? I like Skrillex' Brostep or Bloody Mary drum n' bass, but please no Dr.luke-sque dubstep

I want Gaga's new single to SMASH.
My only problem is how FICKLE the GP can be,IMO.
I have a feeling Gaga's going to have a new producer this time around.White Shadow and Garibay probably won't be on the new album as much, and RedOne will either be on there the same (or less)
Maybe this is the era when Lady Gaga starts producing her own songs completely.

I know, Rih's music is made for radios and it's able to sell well even without promo.
Gaga's not, so I'm not surprised at all.

I'm here for Bad Romance-esque mega hits.
Not in the sense of re-doing the song, but casting a relatable song lyrically into a heavier production with dark undertones.

I cannot express with words how much being a member of this board has meant to me. I first joined hoping to have easier access to chart and sales information regarding my favourite artists, but this has ended being so much more. I have been lucky enough to meet some really great people online and have conversations on a level much more personal than ‘how many units has Born This Way shipped?’ For that, I am very thankful.
I really hate making mentions, because I am always really afraid that I will forget someone, but many of you have had too much of an impact on my life not to tell you directly, so there are a lot of people I plan to thank. Guillaume (Nyx), Johnathan (Ømega), Raff (Boop), Effie, Tim (Ra2), Bruno (Allstar), Franny (Bloody Hooker), Ryan (TLN), Kenz (Haus-of_McK), Lyzz and Sam (Fiss) have all been there for me in a huge way over the past year, and for that I am truly thankful. Please do not stop posting on my wall! Additionally, in no particular order, Chrïs, Jay, Cory (Hollywood), Lars (MonstahNL), Geo, Symph, Ralph, Tim (Biblio), Wilkes, Peanut, Celestial, MrMinum, Chris191, Lem, Vin, James (JungleDisturbia), Morgan (Gagasm), Alessandra (Honey Eyes), iHooker, Ronnie (LGStan93), HausofA-M, Foot, BORNTOSLAY, Harlis (H-I-M), Andre, superiore-93, Amaru, Connor, ALA, AlexandraStanFan, castrobabytiger, Canonical Ensemble, Oshiish, Teal, government****, Clump, ToniGaga96, gordovant, UnicornOnChurch, Versace, Kiel D-01, Get $leazy, Dr. Cake, theppy, JustAHolyFool, freebitch26, Stephen, SixWholeYears, Vertigo Stick, lgrt, EOMM92, Entalan, hausofbryan, Joe (Remixed), UAE and hairofglory have all been really great members and I hope we can all become closer as I continue to post on the forum. I apologise if I have missed anyone!
2011/12 has been a really strange period of my life. Moving away to university and finally accepting my sexuality have been both difficult and amazing decisions, and I think that they have shaped me as a person. I am just glad to have something constant in my life while all of this happened, and ATRL has provided plenty of study breaks and de-stress sessions over the course of the past year-and-a-bit.
I can’t really make a celebratory post without thanking the reason I am here. Lady Gaga has been a major part of my life since I started stanning after her Glastonbury performance in 2009, and I have never regretted any of it. She has helped me through more than I can even begin to explain, and has really made a difference in my life. Her songs have spoken to me more than those of any other artist, and as crazy-stan as this sounds, I really love her beyond words. It is almost like she has been there for me when many others haven’t, and I am really grateful for her music for that. I am not going to idiotically say she is the best singer of all time, or the best dancer, or the best songwriter, but she is my favourite, and I have connected with her on an emotional level more than anyone else. I think that’s why I stan for her.
I realise how much I have been rambling, and I know how bored a lot of people must be getting reading this but I really had a lot to say, so I thank those of you who have made it to the end. I want to finish just by saying that I have really enjoyed making these 20.000 posts on ATRL so far, and would be really happy to have the opportunity to celebrate another 20.000 someday!

I'm a bit late - as always - but I wanted to congratulate you too!
You're the king here, so it's your day! Congratulations!

And where exactly is the album on the charts? http://www.hitsdailydouble.com/sales/salescht.cgi
You can have 300 singles on BBH100, but that doesn't matter when no one wants your album.
