She performed TEOG several times but it didn't had that impact because she also promoted You And I and Born This Way on every freaking show she was at. She could have just performed TEOG in full and that's it. She was still promoting Born This Way everywhere 4 months after it was released. And that made people loose the focus on the actual single, TEOG.
And what I think is that all the promo she did was only for the album. She always sang Born This Way because it was the title of her new record. She didn't focus on the latest single, it was always only about the album and that made TEOG not reach its full potential.
The video was okay but the song is the song. A chart position shouldn't change that ya know? I think Dark is just a bit overrated.
I wonder if the people who heard it generally didn't like it or if they didn't buy it cause they already had the album.
Did she glue the pearls on her glasses during the flight that time too?
