Honestly, I think all of the snubs are the industry's/ Nashville's way of subtly saying that they won't support Taylor when she's as pop as Speak Now is (it
is more pop than country). Notice how the most country song from the album (Mean) was the big award-winner...
It's a shame, because the Enchanted/ Dear John/ Long Live combo alone makes Speak Now a superior album to all of the albums that have beaten it.
she even shaded the song in an interview with Def Leppard 
its still better than what most of these pop acts put out though 
but Speak Now was the best nominated though no doubt
