If you don't consider Taylor to be a pop girl, why did you present the arguement that Britney can dance better than all pop girls in a Taylor vs Britney thread???
I was replying to the people who came for her dancing skills by trying to make a point that she's not as bad as people make her out to be.
I never said otherwise. Britney is not a big vocalist like Mariah, Adele and Beyonce. And neither is Taylor. At least Britney doesn't sing live and sound like a fool. I can't say the same about Taylor.

Those "vocals"....
At least Taylor doesn't lipsync and look like a fool just standing on the stage.....
Can't believe this video was almost fifteen years ago. So iconic .
However I guess I just do not care that much about music videos (I didn't even know my own fave had co-directed some). Certainly not enough to make it the focal point of my argument about talent.
Taylor manages her own brand, a corporation that is worth hundreds of millions of dollar. She is the CEO of her company... at age 23. Now that takes some real talent....

It shows her creativity, Britney created the concept to BOMT and picked out the school girl outfit which has become iconic and embedded in pop culture. The entire concept was her idea. She put her foot down when they wanted to make the video animated.
The BOMT outfit was very cheap as well. She bought it from K-Mart and spent less than $20 for the outfit. Little fun fact.

Unfortunately, Britney's lipsyncing DOES make her look like a fool. It's a large part of why the general public has little respect for her. Britney has a good voice. I get that after what she's been through she's absolutely crippled with nerves, but it would be nice to see her try more often, even if it doesn't always result in flawless vocals. Especially seeing as she can't dance any more. Take Katy Perry for example, people laugh at her bad vocal performances but they will always respect her for trying and for not deceiving her customers, if you will.

Everyone knows award shows don't award talent (and not all award shows acknowledge true talent) but rather award people in attendance for ratings. Britney has had her fair share of those and I know Taylor does as well.
I won't apply that to my fave. Taylor's works were critically acclaimed so... Don't say you have something to say again to discredit that factor.

Werk.
That's understandable. And I apologize about my comments about Taylor's relationships earlier.
