It really didn't matter what time they released it anyway. Nelly Furtado always has been one to rise slow and steady up the charts. Look at Promiscuous. Folklore was a flop, and she came back with a #1 hit when she had no major hits behind her.
This song's success depends if the radio will pick it up or not.

This is what i've been saying all along. Nelly has never been the type to do well as soon as she drops something. I would give this song a couple of weeks to build up steam and see where it goes.
The song is a definite grower for a majority of the public. That's why i'm kind of glad they waiting a couple of weeks to send it for adds on radio.
I think by that time the song will have warmed up to a lot more people.
