To be honest, I was thinking about that too. They had it on their list for the Countdown since it was sent for adds, so it obviously means they like it and they planned on playing it once it gets higher... She's top 30 now and still rising, so... why not? We'll see, but it could do wonders for the song. I mean remember how much Z100 did

If Demi Lovato were a new pop star on the scene, adult listeners would scoop her up as a prodigy. Instead, I feel like audiences and radio programmers have resisted her music because of her personal problems and her Disney past. We should stop that foolishness right now. We’re only hurting ourselves.

spilled the ****ing tea
Unbroken might not generally be what adults listen to. I mean... well... the first 4 songs and Unbroken and Hold Up not, but the rest maybe. But hell, with a HWGA-ish sound she could be the Adele 2.0 if she was a NEW artist, didn't start out on Disney etc. Maybe not as huge, but still she would be much BIGGER and more appreciated.

Finally someone who isn't ignorant and judgmental. Well he was a bit at the start, but many don't even like good songs if they don't like the singer, and he still listened to it with an open mind.
Hope many others will realize what he found out ^^

I think IRL is also not for adults as well, and maybe mistake. Uptembos like GYFAB and unbroken should be the only umptempos she should be thinking about on her next album, not that generic trash like YMOS and WTB

Really hit the nail on that one. The problem is indeed, Demi has been a Disney artist in the past. Few will take her seriously
Will this change? I'm not counting on it. It's a true shame, her career tainted by such a power hungry and ruthless corporation.
I'm just glad Bieber never needed the Disney machine, neither did Taylor Swift. And look where they are today, more relevant than ever.

So during the interview with Demi, Radio 1 played snippets of Fix A Heart, Skyscraper, My Love Is Like A Star and For The Love Of A Daughter

I think it will EVENTUALLY change. It might take a while but it will. You see with Britney, Justin, Christina and all of them, they aren't always linked to disney. It's bound to change, might take a while but it will.

But the gap between their disney and music careers were so vast. People still see Hilary as a disney girl even though she just gave birth to her first child,.

All the slow, chill songs. Hate when they do that.
But it's good. Get that UK promo.

Maybe the lyrics are a bit mature for her younger audience but sonically it really sounds geared towards the child demographic.
