So back a few years ago when I was on vacation in Hawaii, there was a guy at the hotel playing the ukulele and so it just sounded like the happiest sound to me, like the funniest instrument ever. And so I got one and I learned to play it and I was hoping, you know, that I would play it for you guys at a concert someday but I knew, I knew that if I was going to play it for you guys it would have to be on a song that was incredibly happy. And you know, that would have to be something about falling in love or… having the best first date ever. Happy things. You know, things that make you feel fearless.

Taylor was up awful early today for her. She's a self-admitted nighthawk, so I wonder if she has a big day/weekend planned? Maybe, hopefully shooting a music vid for "Eyes Open" or something.

Maybe, hopefully...all my own hope, heard no rumors of it happening. But I bet she's got some sort of big weekend planned.

it's an okay song for me. i found it underwhelming at first listen as i expected something more. It's a grower though.

been reading quite a number of comments saying Taylor's verse sounds similar to Speak Now, the song.
