Two songs were tied, so the one with the least amount of ten pointers goes first.
This might hurt a little.
16.
I Will Go With You (con te partiro)
Average Score: 7.5
Highest Score: 10 (supaspaz, Porygon2z)
Lowest Score: 4 (madonnas)
Lyrics by: Donna Summer
Music by: Francesco Sartori, Lucio Quarantotto
The most recent song in the rate - released in 1999 - finally, and some would say prematurely, leaves us. The song was originally "con te partiro," and sung by Andrea Bocelli. It was re-worked into an English duet with him and Sarah Brightman called Time to Say Goodbye. Donna liked what she heard, but wanted to make it her own; she re-wrote the lyrics and titled it I Will Go with You, the literal translation of the original song. This was the last song to net Donna a Grammy nomination. She would have won too ...
Fun Fact: ... but she was up against Believe that year. Nothing was beating Believe.

What's interesting is that this song came upon a bit of a moment for Donna. It was her twenty fifth anniversary, and she made a new album - Live & More Encore - and got a VH1 special out of it.

I should've jumped in on this from the get go. My mama has been playing Donna nonstop for the past few days and every night I've been going to bed with "Bad Girls" stuck in my head. I would've given it a 10 just because of the sheer amount of time it's been pestering me

I love your commentary on this, it makes her career sound special (which it is, but her wiki page is so dry) .

You know, it's funny - in a small rate like this, the effect one vote can have on a song's placement.
15.
Enough is Enough (No More Tears) [with Barbra Streisand]
Average Score: 7.5
Highest Score: 10 (Ace Reject, @michael, supapsaz, BoyonBoyWonder)
Lowest Score: 1 (YoYo)
The first number one single to go, and arguably the most important female duet in American music history - until The Boy is Mine, that is.
Combining the slow ballad style of Barbra and the fast disco of Donna, this feminist anthem was an instant smash.
It's unsure how this song came into being, although the longest lasting rumor was that Barbra's son convinced her to do it. It would make sense that Barbra would birth a gay as her one and only.
Fun Fact?: Another rumor - Donna, in the midst of her heavy partying phase, passed out while recording. Barbra waited until she did her part - and did the longest held note - before seeing if she was okay.
I AM GAGGING.

It baffles me how some people talk about Donna as if she was a lesser girl. One of the worst stanwars I've ever been involved in was at ClassicWhitney over Donna beign less of a legend than Patti Labelle & Dionne Warwick

Fun Fact Two: In 2001, Anastacia and JENNIFER LOPEZ were slated to do a cover of this song.
Imagine that.

I use Babs only for "The Way We Were" & this song right here. If not a 10, it's at least an 8, how can anyone give it a 1? And I used to be one of the main critics of this song, mainly because I didn't think their voices meshed well. I've read about the two not getting along either, so maybe that had something to do with my opinion back then.

Exactly. EXACTLY. It was just so TRAGIC to witness and IDK how this garbage went to #1 (when #1s were actually a big deal) This is how I imagine a Beyonce & Adele collabo would sound like .
But I don't hate Barbara's voice completely, I adore "Woman in Love".

Jenny can't serve the vocals needed for a song like this though

Her demo leaked. I think it's on YouTube.
It is QUITE GOOD to laugh at/with. Even she knows she's not hitting the notes.
