Why are the weekly sales so high in the USA?

They usually were in the 200-250k range, but right now over 300k with Fun reaching almost 400k and Gotye 310k.

The show is 2 hours long and they need to fill up time so what they do is add duet performances, in this case probably 2 duets and 1 trio. They've been doing this for 2-3 weeks now. I'm guessing Gotye and DYWS (Kelly/Jason) will be the duets... Don't know what will be the trio though...
