Probably because they can't guarantee overnight security.
Not guaranteeing overnight security is one thing, but not letting people line up overnight is another. Now maybe this will be different for each city and venue - I'm sure it will be - but it sounds messy to me.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens, then
