Just bcuz BM sent out a lot of copies doesn't mean the GP actually bought those copies.
I was in Target earlier today and believe it or not her album display was untouched. Ppl aren't really feeling Nicki enough to go out and purchase her album.
My work received 25 copies of the deluxe version, and 15 of the regular. And not one was bought.
I hope this **** gets a recall because I do NOT want to deal with that overstock.

imean the stores reportedly said they were sold out ....so
and that may be true, her diversity is a bless and a curse.
You can deny it over again, but she actually drop few songs ,while Teenage dream had only 1 single.

Roman Holiday wasn't released on iTunes, or sent for ads even after the Grammy performance, and the same with Beez in the Trap. The only "real" singles were Stupid Hoe and Starships. You can keep reaching if you'd like though. And I'm pretty sure Katy had everyone on Teenage Dream before the album released.
This isn't disappointing AT ALL. How many of your favorites can sell this high

I bought Pink Friday... Well everyone that I knew seems like they were. Her debut album was like a movement. The music isn't the same this time around.. I don't like the image she's sporting. and i actually expected her to do 180k ... these are decent numbers lol
Wow. This is actually quite shocking. A SIGNIFICANT drop from PF, despite her media presence being much larger now than it was in November 2010.
If anything, this proves that word of mouth matters. But this is what happens when you alienate your base in pursuit of approval from the fickle, non-album buying pop fanbase. I just didn't realize she had alienated her base to this degree.
"Roman in Moscow" isn't on the album. And add "Teenage Dream" to Katy's singles.
Not to mention Roman Holiday AND Beez in the Trap weren't available until the album release. And to top it all off, she only released 1 video this era, pre-album-release. So many people are trying it today.
