As for Cory, in my opinion that was never a thing at all. She met him once by chance, and once had a friend's outing with him and his friends and Selena. If anything might have been an attempt by her people to cool the JM rumors, which had blown up 2-3 days before, or perhaps it was just a coincidental get-together. Of course that's just my opinion. Anyway she'll do what she wants, it just seems so far she'd made bad choices in regards to the guys in her life.

I do think she's over with Jonas by that time. It's more like anger was left inside because of the thing between Joe and Camilla. With Adam, i think it was only really just being in awe of meeting someone. But nothing serious. Like an instant feeling she had. With Lautner, probably she was not serious about him? Lol. I don't think she used Lautner as a cover. but Cory. I wouldn't doubt she already had a fling with Mayer when she was with Lautner, based on what they exchanged on Twitter. Mayer probably made some further moves after the Jingle Ball event and then she broke up with Lautner. Since then she was seen on a few occasion with Cory, who was used as cover-up, while she had an underground relationship with Mayer. I don't know if it was her idea or her management's idea to hide relationship, but I believe she/the team knew what outcome it would bring to her image if the relationship was surface. I don't think many people believed she had a thing with Mayer back then, let alone say accept it.
I seriously loathe(d) her relationship with Mayer. If she didn't end that relationship, i would stop being a fan
